In this second instalment of our 3-part series looking at the new key changes to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 (see part 1 here), this post focusses on Multi-Geo Tenants.

Dynamics CRM 2013 Online introduced the concept of multiple organisations within the same Office 365 account. This functionality allows customers to have more than one organisation available to some or all CRM users.

CRM 2015 Online now introduces ‘Multi-Geo Tenants’, which grants the ability to create these extra organisations in any of the Data Centres hosting Dynamics CRM around the world. Importantly this will improve performance and decrease latency for teams who can access the new organisation closer to their location.
