CRM 2016 Event Overview

On Wednesday 9th December at the Churchill War Rooms in London, Pythagoras hosted a Dynamics CRM event, educating attendees on the new features of Dynamics CRM 2016 and some of the integrating technologies such as Office 365.

The event was extremely well attended by individuals across the five sectors we specialise in and guests were warmly welcomed with a networking lunch, before the event kicked off with introductions. During the afternoon, guests were presented to by speakers from Pythagoras and Microsoft with a mixture of presentations and demonstrations of the new technology in action, and were able to ask questions throughout. We were also delighted that James Akrigg, Head of Partner Technology at Microsoft UK was able to give a talk on ‘The Modern Workplace’ which was not only informative, it was humorous and insightful.

Some of the new features of Dynamics CRM 2016 include:

  • Email tracking on any device enabling capture in Dynamics CRM against specific records
  • Easy to use visualisations and the ability to utilise the power of Excel
  • New Service Hub enabling issues to be addressed from the dashboards
  • Power BI integration to enable a unified view of an organisation
  • Cortana integration
  • New themes to enable customisation of the user dashboard
  • OneNote integration
  • A number of social capabilities including Microsoft Social Engagement integration, and the ability to post Facebook posts and tweets enabling rich responses.
  • And so much more!

The event closed with a drinks reception and a final opportunity to network with other professionals.
