The Team
Working with a CRM consultancy team and reporting directly to a
Senior Project Manager
on a daily basis. This is a dynamic team with strong personalities
so must have very good communication skills and also can take
pressure.
The Role
Summary of
Position:
The Senior Consultant will work as part of the Pythagoras
consultancy team to:
- Participate in CRM projects in a business analysis and
technical capacity.
- Provide a trouble shooting and technical issue
resolution capacity within the team.
- Provide technical and
functional advice to junior consultants.
Responsibilities:
Specific tasks include:
- Working with clients to define and specify CRM
requirements
- Business Process Engineering
- Architecting solutions to meet business requirements
- Configuring and developing the system to meet the
specific
business requirements.
- Writing test scripts, executing tests
- Accurate estimating for delivering such solutions
- Infrastructure consultancy such as installations and
performance
tuning (including stack technologies such as SharePoint
(desirable)).
- Reviewing Junior Consultants deliverables
- Team Leadership on complex CRM-lead projects
- Working closely with other members of the team to inform of
the
latest product advances and technologies via research and
development in order
to advise colleagues and managers
- To carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time
as
instructed and agreed by your manager.
Senior Consultants will be measured on their ability to provide
functional and technical leadership on projects, to meet customer
satisfaction goals, and to deal with issues in an efficient and
timely manner.
They will also be measured on their ability to provide
mentorship to other consultants and their contribution towards
making operational improvements in the department.
Based at either our Maidenhead or London office, but at least
50% on customer sites. Would suit candidate with 5-7 years
commercial IT experience as a minimum.
The Person
Proven track record in IT development.
Must have technical awareness and excellent customer service
skills. Excellent client skills and be able to communication with
clients and internal colleagues.
Essential or highly
desirable:
- Degree in computer science or
equivalent.
- Microsoft MVP status
- Experience in a consulting
role with expertise in multiple business environments/models.
- Experience with business requirements gathering and
business process mapping.
- The applicant
must have commercial experience working within the CRM software
market sector and in a customer-supplier environment.

- Candidates will ideally have experience
of the latest versions of Dynamics CRM
(ideally with peripheral add on
component experience, such as SharePoint,
C360, MSCRM SDK, Scribe amongst others)
- Strong problem
solving and analytical skills.
- Proven
track record of on-the-job learning and
intercompany promotion.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication
skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Good general IT skills - varied experience of different
environments
- Strong SQL Server and SQL Scripting skills
- Strong C# Skills
- High degree of personal organisation and responsibility
