Pythagoras receives endorsement from Microsoft after achieving
the highest accolade of Gold Partner Status in their partner
programme. (01/03/2007)
Pythagoras reached the status of Gold Certified Partner on 1
March 2007. The company, whose headquarters is in Maidenhead and
has regional offices in the north and the City of London, has been
a Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Partner since 2003. It has
now been awarded Gold Partner status in recognition of its
expertise in the fields of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
and Microsoft Custom Developed Solutions by demonstrating increased
levels of developer certification, in-depth real-world experience,
and by providing completed customer reference projects that were
independently verified by Microsoft.
Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of
competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies and have the
closest working relationship with Microsoft. This latest
accreditation followed a thorough examination of Pythagoras's
operation and a rigorous assessment of its skills, expertise,
training and after-sales support. Pythagoras was also required to
achieve a series of competencies set down by Microsoft and supply
examples of customer activity and supporting testimonials. As well
as technical competence, Gold Partners are required to have access
to the resources and support they need to stand out in the
marketplace and to expand their business opportunities.
Over the past few years, Pythagoras has developed an unrivalled
level of understanding of the Microsoft product portfolio. The
Company works closely with its clients to define their needs and
then designs and implements effective solutions that address key
business and technology issues, delivering real business
benefits.
"I cannot over-emphasise what a significant achievement this is.
It will once again allow us to remain head and shoulders above our
competition and differentiate us from less forward-looking
companies", comments Julian Stone, Managing Director at Pythagoras.
"I expect this to have a significant impact on how our existing and
prospective customers view our capabilities in the future and will
assist us in enhancing the services we provide them. Pythagoras is
in a unique position, both in our skills and depth of knowledge in
the field of Customer Relationship Management. To be awarded
Microsoft Gold Partner status reflects the strength of our
relationship with Microsoft and demonstrates the high level of our
technical expertise and exceptional commitment to quality and
customer care," continues Julian Stone.
"Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the
gap between their business demands and technology capabilities.
They need to trust in someone that can act as an expert adviser for
their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold
Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct
training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer
experience with our technologies," said Allison Watson, vice
president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at
Microsoft Corp.
"Today, Microsoft recognises Pythagoras as a new Microsoft Gold
Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise in providing
customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology. Under
current market conditions, not only have we managed to sustain our
current level of growth, we have increased it significantly.
Turnover is on target to grow by 20% per year in 2007, which is a
tremendous achievement for an independently owned company. We have
achieved this growth by providing our customers with independent
advice on CRM solutions, backed by our commitment to quality and
customer care." The company's activities in the market focus on the
design and implementation of dedicated CRM solutions across both
public and private sectors. Pythagoras now boasts more than 50,000
end users across the UK, ranging from SME's to blue chip and public
sector organisations," concludes Julian Stone.
Pythagoras employs Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) -
individuals who have passed certification exams designed to
validate their mastery using Microsoft tools and technologies. A
recent study of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSEs) and
their supervisors by Jack McKillip, Ph.D. at Southern Illinois
University, rated MCPs as highly effective workers on the job, and
IT supervisors rated MCSEs as more competent on all global
dimensions as compared to non-certified systems engineers. Be sure
to ask for a MCP on your next project.
