Here is a list of some of the additional features for ACT! Professional for Workgroups.
- Scalability to accommodate larger workgroups and teams – ACT! Professional for Workgroups was designed for larger workgroups, accommodating up to 50 networked users for enhanced team interaction and group functions.
- Automatic database synchronization and backup to ensure up-to-date customer information – In ACT! Professional for Workgroups sync times can be set and managed to ensure remote databases are automatically synchronized to the master database and your organization has the most complete customer information at all times. In addition, the frequency and location for database backups can be automatically scheduled.
- Ability to distribute ACT! to your entire team with silent install– Using silent install, organizations can now install, activate and register ACT! Professional for Workgroups on the server and then push the deployment of ACT! to different users on the network. Administrators can set most users preferences at this time, but users can later adapt preferences to meet their needs.
- Group Scheduling for your entire workgroup to increase team efficiency - Group scheduling functionality includes at-a-glance user availability for everyone in the database, the ability to manage and define resources, and task bar notifications when a meeting invitation is sent.
- Customisable Opportunity fields to tailor ACT! to your unique business – Change field names as well as the field types in order to capture the most accurate information. Users can change the field type to make it currency, decimal, or number fields. Add a drop down list and enable multi-select. In addition, fields can be adapted and customised to generate a history from a field, to make a field mandatory, to disable the editing of a field, and to change the field length.
- Grant contact access en masse to get users up and running quickly – Simply select individuals or teams that you want to have access to that data and add permissions as private, public or limit the access to specific individuals or teams of users.
- Easily view team membership – Administrators, managers and individual users can view team membership. Anywhere a team name is displayed, simply right click to view individuals that make up that team.
- Maintain database security with custom user permissions – Administrators may set custom permissions per user enabling them or disabling them from deleting data and/or exporting to Excel.
