The Team
Working with a BI consultancy team and reporting to a BI Unit Manager on a daily basis. This is a young dynamic team, strong personalities, so must have very good communication skills and also can take pressure.
The Position
The Business Intelligence Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering BI sales into Pythagoras' existing accounts and new BI leads, with Qliktech, Cognos and Business Objects products.
Pythagoras currently has a fast growing base of BI clients in various market sectors, and this person must look to solutions already delivered.
The position is to sell Pythagoras' range of BI products to a new client base, generating enterprise BI sales.
The Role
The role involves:
- Business discussions on company Business Intelligence strategies
- Gaining the real Pains for the business with current systems
- Needs analysis
- Qualifying level of opportunity
- Presenting the solution to the client
- Face to face meetings and presentations
- Conducting web based demonstrations
Reporting to: BI Unit Manager
Quarterly bonus awarded based on: Margin for sales closed
Targets will be set annually for each quarter and based on revenue generated and margin made.
The Person
The successful person will have the below experience and abilities :-

Must have technical awareness and excellent customer communication skills.

The Team
Working with the Sales Manager and the Sales Team. Liaison also with the telemarketing team and internal account management as required.
The Role
Customising and assisting in the presentation of presales opportunities with prospective clients.
The role involves:

Reporting to: PreSales Manager or Sales Director
Quarterly bonus award based on: Margin for sales closed on the Sales Team Target
Targets will be set annually for each quarter and based on revenue generated and margin made. The role will expand with more responsibility and progression when the candidate proves him/herself as a strong pre-sales person.
The Person
- Minimum 2 years presales experience in the IT software solution sector.
- Knowledge of Accounts systems such as Access Accounts, Exchequer, Sage Line 50, COA, Open Accounts, and others.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as Microsoft CRM, SAGE CRM, SalesLogic, SFDC, Goldmine, and others.
- Technical Crystal Reports knowledge and experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Highly motivated, energetic and positive self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree is preferred but may be offset by industry experience.
The Team
Working with a CRM consultancy team and reporting to a team leader on a daily basis. This is a young dynamic team, strong personalities, so must have very good communication skills and also can take pressure.
The Role
- Design and delivery of customised CRM systems, often needing to be integrated with other business applications.
- Mainly hands-on programming, but must be able to understand business requirements and deal confidently with customer representatives.
- Opportunity to progress rapidly and lead technical teams on larger projects.
- Based at Maidenhead office, but at least 50% on customer sites. Would suit bright graduate with 2-3 years commercial IT experience as a minimum

Summary of Position:
The Senior Consultant will work as part of the Pythagoras consultancy team to:
- Participate in CRM projects in both a business analysis and technical capacity
- Provide a trouble shooting and technical issue resolution capacity within the team
- Provide technical advice to junior consultants.
Responsibilities:
The senior consultant will primarily be responsible for providing the Pythagoras consultancy team with both a technical and business analysis capacity.
Specific tasks include:
- Architecting solutions:
- Technical Leadership on Consulting projects
- Designing and Developing applications and/or application interfaces
- Systems configuration and Deployment
- Contributing to internal process improvement initiatives
- Establishing and fostering consulting best practices
- Providing technical mentorship
- Taking ownership of technical project issues and ensuring their swift and accurate resolution
Senior Consultants will be measured on their ability to provide technical leadership on projects, to meet customer satisfaction goals, and to deal with issues in an efficient and timely manner. They will also be measured on their ability to provide technical mentorship to other consultants and their contribution towards making operational improvements in the department.
Senior Consultants must be willing to travel up to 60%.
Education and Experience (Required):
- Degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in a consulting role with expertise in multiple business environments/models
- Experience of the CRM software market sector
- Experience with one or more of Sage SalesLogix, Sage CRM, Microsoft CRM. Preference given to candidates with experience in more than one of these
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Proven track record of on-the-job learning and inter company promotion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience
Education and Experience (Advantageous):

The Team
The Support team is responsible managing the relationship with existing Pythagoras customers, particularly tracking issues reported by CRM customer base.
The team comprises a number of individuals that handle customer queries on standard problems and customer-specific customisations across a wide range of software technologies.
The Role
The Support Desk Consultant would be responsible for taking first line support calls and liaising with customers on a daily basis.
- Logging support calls as they come in and monitoring the status of calls daily
- Replicating the faults where possible internally
- Escalation of faults to second line development support and software vendors where appropriate
- Tracking of faults to conclusion with client
The Person:
- Proven track record in IT support
- Strong personality with good communication skills to control the team and maintain communicaton channels with customers
- Experience in CRM software is desirable
- Previous experience in programming, SQL or Crystal Reports is desirable
