Sage CRM - What's New in Sage CRM v6
The release of Sage CRM v6 centres around user experience, with particular emphasis on ease of use and simplified administration. The all new Training and Coaching area provides step-by-step instructions on getting started and offers ongoing training to users as they work with the application day-by-day. We have further enhanced usability through simplified Field Level Security, code-free territory management and realignment, improved data segmentation and an even more powerful search engine.

- New welcome tab to help new users to quickly familiarise themselves with Sage CRM. From here, they can access CRM system documentation, online training videos, system quick tips and the User Preferences wizard
- Display customised text on each screen to ensures your users are aware of where they are in system and what they are working on at all times.
- Quick tips on recurring themes to educate users as they work with Sage CRM.
- Redesigned Find interface further improves usability
- Sage CRM allows you now to search within communications and by keywords across any part of the system
- Perform numeric searches
- The new Advanced Find functionality also supports nested statements so “and/or” searches are possible.
- New Groups functionality allows users to organise records based on common characteristics for better data segmentation
- Two types of groups now exist: static groups – which remain unchanged over time - and dynamic groups – which change automatically when records are change
- Mass Updates mean users can update Group records in one easy step
- Sage CRM v6 also makes it easy to add individual records to a Group.
- Sage CRM v6 offers a simplified, code-free way to manage and realign territories
- We have made the movement of data between ‘owners’ quick & simple with no need for access to the database back end and all the expert skills that can entail.
- Field Level Security is now even simpler as we have removed the requirement for code
- Security on fields is applied using checkboxes at the Field Level and can be applied to users, teams or profiles
- Field Level Security applies security throughout the product including screens, lists, reports etc.
- Ability to create a new company for an Outlook contact when adding it to CRM
- Deduplication now available when adding Outlook Contacts to Sage CRM
- Ability to see which emails have been filed to Sage CRM and the possibility to file batches of emails from Outlook to Sage CRM
- Ability to add global documents from Sage CRM as email attachments in Outlook
