The ability to track emails and activity against a record or opportunity in Dynamics CRM has been improving customer engagement and collaboration across organisations across the Globe. This blog shows the 3 easy steps to set up folder level tracking from Exchange in Dynamics CRM Online 2015.
The 3 steps to setting up folder level tracking with Dynamics CRM Online 2015:
1. Create a new folder in Exchange.
2. Map the Exchange folder created to Dynamics CRM by clicking (within Dynamics CRM Web Client): Options > .Email > Configure Folder Tracking Rules.
3. When any relevant emails regarding that account / opportunity is emailed through, simply drag the communication into the relevant mapped Exchange folder and this will automatically associate it to the account in Dynamics CRM.
Finally, you can also drag relevant emails into your mapped folders while on the go using your mobile device by simply moving the email to the relevant folder.
