Pythagoras helps UnLtd in their strategy to put digital and data at the heart of their delivery

UnLtd is developing intelligent user journeys to connect entrepreneurs and sponsors with the most relevant information at all times. A large part of achieving this is to develop a platform which gives a single view of each contact across all touchpoints with the organisation. UnLtd will also pull together the wealth of knowledge from their sponsors and partners into an online community and Learning Area to enable their community to find the information they need when they need it.
Approach: Investing in Design and Discovery
UnLtd recognised the importance of having a good supplier relationship and wanted to make sure they had made the best decision about both their partner and their technology choice. For this reason, they initially procured a Design and Discovery Phase with Pythagoras, who they selected following a tender process.
Discovery provided UnLtd with an opportunity to get to know their team of consultants and project managers that would be involved in the full project, and for Pythagoras to provide accurate designs, costings and project plans based on the requirements teased out during workshops.
On completion of the Discovery phase, stakeholders and users at UnLtd were engaged with the project aims and excited to start the build of the solution. The team at UnLtd were confident that Pythagoras was the right partner for them, and both parties were able to start the first phase of build with a solid appreciation of the scale and best approach to the project.

Technology: Why Microsoft Dynamics 365?
Clicks, not code
UnLtd chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 as their preferred solution due to the amount that can be achieved using out-of-the-box functionality. Using a ‘clicks not code’ development ethos was a key requirement, as UnLtd wanted a platform which can be easily managed, supported and tweaked in-house without relying heavily on developers.
Feature-rich platform for all departments
Once complete, Dynamics 365 will provide UnLtd with a flexible platform for account management and nurturing; email marketing, automation and personalisation; integration with existing events management solution; mentoring management; donation and grant management and surveys. Microsoft Portals will also be used to provide a new Award Application and Management space, and native integration will ensure data entered into the portal is updated on an individual’s contact record in Dynamics 365.
