This role works closely with the Director of People and Culture delivering day to day people processes and supporting HR projects. The vacancy has arisen due to the current role holder going on maternity leave in Jan/Feb 2019 so is for a 12 month fixed term period.
There’s always a lot going on so you’ll need to be able to get stuck in and be prepared to turn your hand at most aspects of HR practice from recruitment, to employee relations advice, to induction training to organising our annual bake off competition!
In order to be able to juggle the different demands of the role you’ll be well organised and resilient too. We haven’t come this far without hard work and sometimes having to make tough decisions. The ability to see the bigger picture and understand the commercial priorities of the business will therefore be an asset.
You should have a friendly approach, a can-do attitude with the ability to question to help us continually improve our people practices. HR work closely with all areas and levels of the business so you’ll need to be comfortable to communicate as easily with our CEO as with one of our consultants.
If you’ve managed to pick up an HR qualification or degree along the way this will be of benefit but more important is solid administrative experience. Therefore, this role may suit an HR Administrator ready to take the next step in their career.
