Marketing Executive


We’re looking for an individual that has a desire to learn about the benefits of technology and the writing skills to communicate this with our customers and prospects through a variety of mediums.

Job in a nutshell

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in marketing, with opportunities to contribute to all marketing team activities such as events, campaigns and content creation.

  • You’ll join a passionate Marketing team working to communicate the experience and expertise of Pythagoras across all channels (web, social and print).

  • You’ll be responsible for managing our Pythagoras social media channels, including curating content that resonates with our audience and using creativity to grow our engagement and reach.

  • You’ll contribute to the creation of compelling content that teaches our audience about cutting-edge Microsoft technology and how this can benefit them.

  • You’ll assist with the planning and execution of marketing events, conferences and webinars. You’ll need to ensure messaging is relevant and consistent with the campaign aim and Pythagoras brand.

  • After time, you’ll have the opportunity to take responsibility for relationships with some of our suppliers and marketing partners for PR, print and sponsorship.

While we don’t expect you to have all of the skills you’ll need to succeed in the role from the outset, you must be enthusiastic and determined to learn new things.

Required skills and attributes:

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • A flair for writing and an ability to communicate complex ideas through written language.

  • An understanding and interest in social media use and trends (particularly LinkedIn and Twitter).

  • A positive personality and enthusiasm to collaborate with colleagues.

  • A confident telephone manner and the ability to form relationships quickly.

  • An understanding of Microsoft tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • A desire to learn about the use of technology in a business context.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a marketing or events planning role.

  • A degree or equivalent level qualification.

  • Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress.

  • An understanding of how Microsoft tools such as Dynamics 365, Azure and Office 365 can be used.
