Partner Manager – Sales and Marketing


The Role

The Partner Manager’s role is to ensure Pythagoras is effectively utilising its partner relationship to increase revenue generation for both the partner and Pythagoras in Pythagoras focus areas.  Reporting to the Lead Partner Manager, this role will be required to ensure timely claims of Microsoft fees are completed, and that Pythagoras’s product portfolio is promoted in the Partner Channel.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Partner business relationship to drive engagement and revenues from Microsoft.

  • Advise the sales team and the Partner on Microsoft licencing policy and opportunities.

  • Ensure Microsoft fees are claimed as quickly as possible to generate increased revenues for the partner and Pythagoras. This includes ensuring that Pythagoras are Partner of Record, and all relevant steps are completed.

  • Managing our respective partner and vendor portals, with all associated tracking, submissions and outputs.

  • Ensure our partner and internal sales team are up to date on our offerings and Microsoft updates.

  • Ensure our relationships with agreed partners is maintained.

  • Qualification of opportunity at the Partner taking into account budget, authority, need and timing.

Your Skills and Experience:

You’ll have:

  • A track record of exceeding your target and able to demonstrate tenacity to succeed.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products.

  • A keen appetite and ability to learn on the job.

  • Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills.

  • A proactive and self-starting approach to managing your responsibilities.

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft licensing models.

  • Experience of lead qualification.

  • Experience of building mutually beneficial relationships across roles and organisations.
