Senior Consultant Technical Support – Managed Services Team

Maidenhead / Solihull / London

The Role

This role provides hands-on Application Support and Managed Services to Pythagoras clients. Using technical expertise, you will strive to give quality and efficient customer service, as well as innovative fix solutions. This a varied and interesting role working with a well-established team.

The successful candidate will be a C# .Net Developer, with experience of Dynamics 365 looking for a role which combines technical development with remote customer support.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Develop fixes to client issues, and deploy fixed solutions to the client’s environments

  • Respond to client tickets in order to keep them informed as to the status of their support enquiry

  • Investigate and reply to tickets escalated to you.

  • Liaise with the project delivery teams to understand the possible reasons for any system issues

  • Close support tickets in a timely manner to ensure accurate internal reporting

  • Act as a mentor and escalation point for those with less experience in the team

  • Maintain a rapport with your clients to ensure an ongoing excellent relationship between all clients and Pythagoras

  • Attend occasional client site visits for onsite support or service review (if and when required).

  • Participate in the on call rota (4 week cycle) for out of hour’s critical support

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent development skills using C# .Net, JavaScript, Powershell

  • A degree in an IT related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience to have gained similar knowledge.

  • 2+ years resolving third line support issues

  • Willingness to learn technologies such as Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL, SSRS, SSIS for customer support purposes

  • Passion to deliver excellent customer service

  • The ability to analyse and solve complex client issues

  • Excellent approach to teamwork and collaboration.
