Senior QA Consultant – Delivery Team

The Role

The Senior QA Consultant will play key role in ensuring the highest quality solutions are deployed to our clients.

This is done by designing and executing test cases, and completing quality documentation, to robustly QA our solutions.

They are also required to identify areas with other teams to improve overall quality, and collaboratively implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects as allocated by the Lead Consultant to continuously improve the QA offering to the client and internal stakeholders.

  • Design, review and manage tests cases that ensure effective test coverage of the work in scope.

  • Test execution at both functional and non-functional level for Office 365 and Dynamics 365 solutions

  • Create and manage test metrics both during and at completion of testing projects to ensure a 90%+ accuracy metric of all products deployed to clients.

  • Create reports to the business regarding key quality metrics, and make improvements to the overall reporting capability of the department.

  • Act as a gatekeeper to all the deliverables, and show good judgement to put our clients’ needs first.

  • Supporting other QAs in the team, leading by example, and setting the standard

  • Working closely with the Lead QA Consultant to help define and document policies, process and products

Your Skills and Experience:

Essential Skills:

  • At least 5 years of QA experience, preferably testing Dynamics 365 or Office 365 products.

  • Demonstrable experience in improving QA processes, and collaborating with other teams.

  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environment with a good understanding of the principles.

  • Ability to write test plans from Specifications

  • Have a strong understanding of Software Testing techniques and processes, including test case development and execution

  • A strong desire for quality, and excellent attention to detail.

  • Be able to demonstrate a can-do, positive attitude, proactive approach to problem solving

  • The ability to work independently, with the tenacity to ensure we deliver the best products we can.

  • Ability to work across multiple teams and projects simultaneously

  • Experience in quality management tools (Azure DevOps, TestRail, HP-ALM (QC))

  • ISTQB certification or equivalent

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiar with automation frameworks such as Selenium

  • ISTQB Agile Tester Extension Certificate

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • A degree in Computer Science; or related discipline.
